Hospital initiates three-level call-back system

The Second People’s Hospital of Ruzhou took the lead in initiating the call-back system in the city’s medical industry. Up to now, the hospital has made 20,000 call-backs at three levels to its patients.

The level one call-back will be made within 14 days after the patients are discharged from the hospital by the doctor in charge. The doctor will give rehabilitation and functional recovery exercise guidance to each of his former patients.

The level two call-back will happen within 15 to 30 days since a patient leaves the hospital. The call-back will be conducted by the hospital information center. It will inquire into every patient for their satisfaction to the hospital’s services during hospitalization, as well their feedback to the earlier level one call-back.

At the final stage, the hospital will select half of discharged patients for the call-back. The hospital will check the implementation of the earlier two levels of call-backs in order to optimize the call-back system. The results will be accounted as an index for the employees’ annual performance evaluation.
