The eighth session of a vocational skill training program of the general union of Ruzhou city, Henan province, successfully closed on August 1. All 63 trainees have been recruited to important posts by Tianrui, a coal coking company.

Yao Junzhu, president of the general union and member of the Ruzhou people's congress standing committee, said that traditional skills training can no longer meet the needs of the job market. To deal with the issue, the city launched training programs that specialized in the particular needs of enterprises.

The training program received full support from Tianrui from the start. Its choice to specialize in welder and electrician training was based on Tianrui's project reconstruction.

During the training, tutors recruited by the union delivered lectures on theory and application for welders and electricians in classrooms provided by the enterprise. Coming from diverse backgrounds, the students were given a precious opportunity to improve their skills and prepare for their future jobs.
