Ruzhou EPA holds emergency exercises

The Ruzhou Environmental Protection Agency held an environmental emergency practical exercise in Pingdingshan Coalmine’s Chaochuan Coking company on November 1.

The exercise started at 9 am and consisted of environment monitoring, emergency disposal, and evacuation activities.

The Ruzhou Environmental Protection Agency focused on information study, team concentration and training, and equipment application. Chaochuan Coking was in charge of information reporting and notification, evacuation and protection, rescue team coordination, and allocating relief supplies.

Li Zijie, director of the Ruzhou Environmental Protection Agency, and Wang Zhenguo, general manager of Chaochuan Coking, served as commanders-in-chief.
