The Ruzhou Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau has launched a comprehensive inspection on radiation safety that was first organized in April.

A special panel was organized to lead the campaign and develop the plan.

The Environmental Protection Bureau inspected radiation safety permits, safeguard systems, and staff training at 28 work units involved in radiation. It also carefully inspected scrap metal recycling and melting units and radioactive material transport units. The bureau also developed specific management requirements for all inspected units.
