A supervision group from Pingdingshan visited Ruzhou to investigate the management and review of the commodity price office. The group consisted of price surveillance officers from the Development and Reform Department of Pingdingshan and officers from the reporting center.

The supervision group was impressed by the working report for the first half of 2012. The group then analyzed the current economic situation and offered some advice. They emphasized that price supervision cannot be delayed, and people's concerns and livelihoods should be closely followed. Pragmatic supervision and implementation should be focused, and propaganda should be highlighted. The second half of the year will face more demanding tasks so workers should make concerted efforts to meet the demands.
