Ruzhou Competitors recieve golden medal at Hong Kong Wushu International Championship

According to the news from the Ruzhou Sports Bureau on March 7, the 10th Hong Kong Wushu International Championship was held at the Asia World Expo from February 25 to February 28. Four Ruzhou competitors attended the championship and recieved one golden medal, four silver medals and three bronze medals.

It was the largest gathering since the foundation of the Hong Kong Wushu International Championship. The championship attracted more than 9,000 competitors from all over the world, including Russia, Singapore, Japan, the United State, the United Kingdom and other countries.

Chen Jianchuan, the female competitor from Ruzhou, won the gold medal in the Women’s Chen Style Taiji Boxing Competition; Wan Chongying, another female competitor, got the silver medal in the Women’s Chen Style Taiji Sword Competition and bronze medal in the Women’s Chen Style Taiji Boxing Competition. In the Men’s Chen Style Taiji Boxing Completion, Li Guangxi won the silver medal and Jin Shuai won the bronze medal. As for the Men’s Chen Style Taiji Sword Competition, Jin Shuai got the silver medal and Li Guangxi recieved the bronze medal.
