The Ruzhou municipal people's court held an open house activity on March 7, the first of its kind in 2014. Over 30 representatives from the Ruzhou municipal people’s congress, municipal committee of the CPPCC, administrative departments, communities, industrial and commercial enterprises, and news media took part in the activity.

Participants were able to have close contact with the court as well as the judges.

The open house included a tour in the court. The court also prepared a special film about the social court’s work. Later, the visitors heard a traffic accident case, which gave them a direct experience of judicial proceedings.

The municipal court will summarize the experience of the open house to ensure the activity is carried on a regular and standard basis. It will provide the public with opportunities to interact with courts and judges, and solicit their feedback on judicial work.
