The Thailand Embassy held an open-door activity to celebrate the new year in Bangkok’s Chinese Culture Center on Feb 6. Thailand’s former prime minister Chuan Leekpai was invited to attend the activity, where he received the Begonia Bottle, a piece of Ru porcelain, from Li Xiaojuan.

Thailand’s former prime minister Chuan Leekpai, accompanied by Thai officers and Zhang Yiming, a Chinese diplomatic officer of the Chinese Embassy in Thailand, visited the Yujuan Ru porcelain exhibition stand. Li Xiaojuan introduced the features, history and culture of Ru porcelain to the former prime minister Chuan Leekpai.

The former prime minister Chuan Leekpai held office from September 1992 to May 1995 and November 1997 to February 2001. He made grand contributions to Sino-Thailand friendship.
