Ruzhou's financial revenue in 2012 reaches nearly 1.6b yuan

Ruzhou's local financial revenue topped 1.5 billion yuan for the first time, marking a year-on-year increase of 300 million yuan.

Ruzhou's tax departments at all levels strengthened financial resource construction in 2012, optimized expenditure structures, deepened reform of the public finance system, effectively guaranteed and improved people's livelihoods, and actively promoted the development of the city's economy and social undertakings. The local fiscal spending of Ruzhou in 2012 was 3.4 billion yuan ($546.1 million).

The financial department of Ruzhou acted positively and realized steady and rapid growth in financial revenue. The financial department and tax department assigned tasks to collection departments and made sure that the fiscal revenue was collected timely. They paid close attention to income dynamics and analyzed income situations to master enterprise production and marketing dynamics in a timely manner. They adopted information interchange and statistical reporting systems to ensure non-tax revenue was collected timely and fully.

Ruzhou also maintained tight control of fiscal expenditures. In 2012, Ruzhou optimized the structure of expenditures and controlled the budget strictly. Ruzhou also reduced general spending such as conference expenses, entertainment expenses and vehicle purchase and operating costs. Wages were guaranteed and subsidies for cadres and workers were improved. Legal spending, people's livelihood spending and project spending were guaranteed and financial resources were integrated to serve the greater good. Local fiscal spending totaled 3.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 32.5 percent. Spending on people's livelihood accumulated to 2 billion yuan, an increase of 30.8 percent.
