The Ruzhou municipal government, in an effort to crack down on illegal mining, has set up a coalition investigation group to investigate illegal mining practices.

Since the very beginning of this year, Ruzhou has begun to punish illegal mining with greater focus. In order to improve work efficiency, Ruzhou has strengthened coalition law enforcement. Different departments will shoulder different responsibilities for land, forest and environmental damage incurred by illegal mining. In addition, 16 policemen were selected to form a special management group to crack down on illegal mining. Recently, Ruzhou has issued guidance pertaining to comprehensively managing and standardizing mineral resources development. The guidance clearly states the task, target and measures of work and the specific responsibilities of towns and relevant departments.

In the following days, Ruzhou will take strong and effective measures to find illegal practices as early as possible. At the same time, Ruzhou will pay attention to rehabilitation. Guided by the Ruzhou municipal government, Ruzhou will mobilize several relevant departments to participate in rehabilitation in order to ensure the stability of mineral resources.
