Ruzhou holds popular workers' basketball competition

In order to diversify the cultural life of workers and staff, the 7th Workers and Staff Members Basketball Association, hosted by the Federation of Trade Unions of Ruzhou, Henan province, held its opening ceremony in the center court of the Workers' Cultural Palace. Yang Yingwu, the Vice Mayor, attended the ceremony.

The Association is made up of workers' basketball representative teams from 14 enterprises and public institutions in the city and the tournament will last for two months. in which there will be 45 rounds of competitions - all held on weekends and holidays. It is reported that the Workers Basketball Association of Ruzhou is held annually and is called “CBA of Ruzhou”. The competition attracts many workers and basketball fans and has become a cultural and spiritual feast for workers. Meanwhile, the workers’ cultural palace has become the “summer resort” for citizens.
