The Yusong Ru Procelain Company of Ruzhou was awarded as one of the ten kilns that have made the greatest efforts to pass down the exquisite workmanship of porcelain making at a prize-giving ceremony held in Beijing on Dec. 15.

The title of top 10 famous kilns in China was given to 10 different enterprises and companies involved in porcelain making and related businesses at the prize-giving ceremony held in the Henan pavilion in the Great Hall of the People.

In addition, another 15 prizes were awarded to those who have contributed to the porcelain-making business to encourage their consistent efforts and support in flourishing China’s traditional porcelain making artistry. Organized jointly by Shanghai University, Nanjing Art Academy, and 26 Collection Associations all over China, this prize-awarding ceremony not only collected these exquisite wares, but mustered the most professional and reputable critics in the field.

Li Quansheng, party secretary of Ruzhou, said he believed Ruzhou would further take this chance to implement the scientific outlook of development on growing the Ru Porcelian making industry. Meanwhile, Ruzhou will keep learning advanced techniques to turn a new leaf in the Ru Porcelian making history.

With the twin goals of studying new approaches to develop our traditional porcelain making industry and selecting the best wares and kilns, this gathering offers a new path in the land of the future. The lonely road to a flourishing future will seek creation and creative thinking while absorbing traditional and valuable experiences and techniques.
