On the afternoon of Oct 20, a Madagascan diplomat delegation consisting of 20 people visited Pingdingshan and met municipal leaders at the presence chamber on the second floor of the office building of the municipal government.

The Madagascan diplomat delegation was led by Zhang Leping, director of the training center at the Institute of Political Development and Government Administration in Peking University. The team leader was the director of the Bilateral Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Madagascan. They will conduct a four-day trip in Pingdingshan.

The Madagascan diplomat delegation is sponsored by the Chinese government and undertaken by the Institute of Political Development and Government Administration in Peking University. There are two terms, this being the second term, during which the 15 Madagascan diplomats will get to know the condition, key enterprises, countryside construction and tourism development in the city.

The director of the Bilateral Cooperation Department said the visit to Pingdingshan will boost the exchange and cooperation between Pingdingshan and Madagascar and enhance the friendship between the two.

On the morning of Oct 21, the municipal leaders and the delegation held a seminar in Shenma Hotel.

On the day, the Madagascan delegation also visited CEET Pinggao Group Company Limited, China Pingmen Shenma Group, and the mine of Shenma Group.
